The objective behind holding this seminar was to create awareness among the students about immediate and projected industry skill sets required to be a good professional in the field of finance. The basic aim of seminar was to provide an opportunity to our students to understand the role of finance manager and opportunities available for finance students in different industries.

Second lecture in the series was delivered by Mr. Unmesh Bhatija , COO of Change Systems. He enlightened the students about the opportunities in the banking finance services Insurance sector. He stated that India is the most preferred Banking destination with its development in E banking transactions. He gave perspective of opportunities available in banking, broking, insurance, capital management, commodities, KPO, hedge funds etc. for finance professionals.

After this lecture Mr. Milind Deshpande, GM-Finance, TACO conducted the session. He is B.E. with a diploma in foreign trade and MBA from California US. He spoke on the various challenges which have to be face by finance managers of a manufacturing industry.

Final session of the day was delivered by Mr. Soumyendu Sen Sarma, Head-Finance, Coca-Cola India Ltd. Mr. Sen Sarma talked to the students about FMGC sector and emerging roles of Finance mangers, CFOs, controllers, compliance officers, internal auditors, financial analysts, accounting managers, working capital manager treasurers and management accountants. He concluded the session by explaining how to acquire the skill sets required to become a successful finance professional.

At the end Prof. Monica Gajare Event Coordinator of this seminar summarized the proceedings of the day and thanked all speakers for sharing their views and knowledge on various aspects of finance sector.
