The Institute organised Induction Programme for the MBA first year students on 18 August 2008.

The cermony started with the traditional lighting of the lamp at the hands of the Chairman Dr. Ashok Patil. Rohan Adhlakha, who topped the University Examination, was felicitated by the honorable Chairman.

Chairman guided the students and enlightened them with his speech. Director, Dr. ASJ Jacob and Joint Secretary, Mrs Nandini Charles, also gave words of advice to the students.

Mr. Ritesh Kumar, Asst. Manager-Delivery Support, Amplify Mindware and an alumni of this Institute delivered a lecture on "Expectation of Industry from MBA Students".

After a refreshing break, a lecture on "How to become a successful Manager" was delivered by Dr. S.S. Kaptan, Head of Department of Commerce, University of Pune.
